ATRI Terminology Relating to Religious Life
February 11, 2026ATRI developed a Resource Manual to support individuals involved in the administrative processes of a religious institute. This terminology document is one component of the ATRI Resource Manual. Since many terms used in religious institute settings may be unfamiliar to new collaborators, this document is intended to serve as an orientation and reference tool.
For general assistance with the administrative work of your institute, please refer to the ATRI Resource Manual. Because government regulations change frequently, portions of the manual may require periodic review and updates.
